Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary in Centurion, Gauteng urgently seeking vibrant, energetic, intelligent compassionate animal caregivers / volunteers. This IS NOT an AA position. This opportunity is for a COUPLE ONLY, or a related unit who can share an outside furnished flatlet.
Non-negotiable Prerequisites: VEGAN/ PESCATARIAN / VEGETARIAN {no meat is permitted to be consumed on the property} Non-smokers of Sober habits, Basic Handyman skills, Organisational skills and personal pride in surroundings, Hardworking manual labour; willing to work overtime when necessary, Trustworthy, Dedication to animals.
Duties: Cleaning rabbit and guinea pig dwellings Feeding rabbits and guinea twice daily. Handling and placing rabbits into garden for play time and returning them to their inside stables once a day, depending on weather. Administering medications to rabbits when required. Interest to absorb basic study material about rabbits. Feeding 3 family dogs twice daily and putting their jerseys on at night. Feeding wild birds in the morning.
Remuneration: Furnished outside small flat with bathroom including beverages, food and basic PROBATIONAL salary of R3500 per month for both persons. Additional incentives dependent on performance.
